COLDWATER, MI – A Bronson man has been charged in connection with an alleged domestic dispute last August.
Reports indicate 20-year-old Gary Wayne Boyd III was booked at the Branch County Jail last week following a Michigan State Police investigation. He has been charged with assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder, unlawful imprisonment and domestic violence second offense.
According to court documents, Boyd allegedly punched and strangled a female acquaintance during an argument while they were in a vehicle on August 23, 2020.
Boyd has been released on a $15,000 bond. He is scheduled to be arraigned in Branch County District Court on February 1.
