The deadline for absentee ballots is this Thursday for those who wish to vote by mail.
All absentee ballot applications need to be filled out by the end of the day on October 22 to allow election officials time to approve the application and send the ballot to the voter.
Mail-in ballots must be received by noon on election day, Nov. 3, in order to be counted in this year's Presidential election.
If people are worried that the U.S. Postal Service won’t deliver their ballots in time to be counted, they may drop them off in person. In Steuben County, mail in ballots can be dropped off at the courthouse, located 55 South Public Square.
