Habitat for Humanity of Greater Fort Wayne will kick off its build sponsored by the Home & Garden Show this Wednesday, July 1st. Habitat announced their partnership in February when the Home & Garden Show chose them as their charitable partner for the 2020 show.
A portion of the revenue from the 2020 Home & Garden Show were donated to Habitat to help fund the build of the home in New Haven. Several of the exhibitors from the show made in-kind donations as well: Rain Drain & Leaf Guard, Overhead Door, Harlan Cabinets, Windows Doors & More, and Bushey’s.
The Habitat partner family for this build, Ardrea Ware, will join Habitat staff and the Home & Garden Show sponsors to build and raise the first walls of her home. This home marks the third Habitat home in the Victoria Lakes community in collaboration with Lancia Homes.
