In a Facebook release on Wednesday, Angola Parks and Recreation have made the unfortunate decision to cancel recreation events for the 2020 season.
Officials did reiterate that they know that this news is heartbreaking to many within the area, it was not made without weighing out several scenarios. The Angola Parks and Recreation Staff, along with the Angola Park Board and the Angola COVID-19 Task Froce worked together for several weeks to ensure the safety of the community and unfortunately had to settle on this decision.
Angola Parks and Recreation hopes that the community understands the decision made, but look forward to welcoming everyone back in 2021.
