Northeast Indiana is reporting another death and 81 new cases of coronavirus as of Wednesday afternoon.
Nine of those cases are in LaGrange County, according to the Indiana State Department of Health. That makes 102 people who have tested positive for COVID-19 and 2 people who have died.
Steuben County has 2 new cases, bringing their total number of people with the virus to 87. There have been 2 COVID-19 deaths.
In DeKalb County there are 6 new cases of COVID-19. 43 people have the virus and there has been 1 death.
Noble County has 13 new cases, which brings their total number of people who have coronavirus to 251, and there have been 21 deaths.
Around Indiana, 511 new cases of coronavirus were reported. That makes
35,712 people who have the virus. In addition, 10 more people have died, which means 2,032 individuals have lost their lives to coronavirus.
The State Department of Health says from Tuesday to Wednesday that 5,960
people were given the COVID-19 test. To date 277,815 people have been tested for the virus and 12.9 percent of the tests have come back as positive.
