Plans have been finalized for the Lakeland High School Class of 2020 graduation.
Lakeland Jr/Sr High School Principal Robert Albaugh says the ceremony will take place Friday, July 10 at 7 PM on the High School football field. In the event of rain, the graduation would be moved to either Saturday July 11 at 11 AM or Sunday July 12 at 2 PM.
Albaugh says on the advice of the LaGrange County Health Department and in order to follow Governor Holcomb's Phase 5 reopening, seniors will be limited to 4 tickets each for parents and guests. Social distancing protocols will be in place. Face masks are encouraged, but not required.
Anyone who has been ill from, exposed to or has symptoms of COVID-19, is
asked to stay home.
The senior breakfast will be held in the High School cafeteria at 9:30 AM on July 10th. Graduation practice and class photos will be at 10:30 AM.
Albaugh says they are also holding a combined senior academic awards and
senior winter sports awards ceremony on July 9 at 7 PM in the Auditorium.
If anyone has questions, they can contact Albaugh.
