The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced early on Tuesday that 568 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at ISDH, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and private laboratories. That brings the total number to 5,507 Indiana residents known to have the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s total. Also, the total number of deaths within Indiana due to Coronavirus has surged to a total of 139.
To date, 28,764 tests have been reported to ISDH, up from 26,192 on Monday.
The largest population of cases around the area is Allen County with 87 positive cases. Meanwhile, Steuben is now up to nine confirmed cases while DeKalb remains at four cases, LaGrange has six, and Noble has increased up to eleven cases.
