One of the two Indiana suspects who were charged with multiple counts for the alleged break in and theft of items from storage units on Coldwater’s south side back in July of this year entered into a plea agreement with prosecutors Monday in Branch County Circuit Court.
37-year-old Jennifer Renee Oliver entered no contest pleas to charges of attempted breaking and entering with intent and receiving an concealing stolen property over $1,000 but under $20,000.
In total, seven counts of breaking and entering with intent and a charge of possession of burglary tools will be dismissed by prosecutors in exchange for her pleas. Oliver is scheduled to be sentenced on January 27th of next year.
Oliver along with 44-year-old Robby Alan McCarty were arrested on Marshall Road just north of Coldwater after several Shaffmaster U-Store-N-Lock storage units on North Angola Road were broken into July 9, 2019. McCartney was arrested about a week after he failed to appear for a Steuben County court hearing on a driving while license suspended charge.
