The Angola Plan Commission gathered on Monday evening to hear an update on the City of Angola Comprehensive Plan. Key updates to the plan include an Executive Summary, an Economic Development section; which reflects the I-69 Economic Development Plan as well as stakeholders and client feedback, and a housing plan which reflects the goals of the recent housing study and supports the county wide housing strategy.

A presentation was given by HWC Engineering of the Comprehensive Plan and the next phase will be to receive and make changes based on feedback from the Plan Commission at a future meeting as well as from several stakeholders in the community and to revise the Comprehensive Plan based on the feedback. A tentative date for the public meeting will be in late September or October.
