On Thursday, September 11, 2025, the Ashley-Hudson Volunteer Fire Department will host a 9/11 Honor Walk in remembrance of the tragic events of September 11, 2001.
The walk will begin at 8:46 AM, the exact time the first tower was struck, as a powerful act of remembrance. Participants will walk from the Ashley-Hudson Fire Department to Hardy Park in Hudson and back, honoring the courage and sacrifice of those who served and those who were lost.
Firefighters will be donning full PPE, just as our brothers and sisters did on that fateful day, as a living tribute to their bravery. All first responders, families, community members, and supporters are invited to join this solemn walk of unity and respect.
This event is more than a memorial—it is a commitment to never forget the nearly 3,000 lives lost, including the 343 firefighters and 60 law enforcement officers who made the ultimate sacrifice.
