BRYAN, Ohio — The former executive director of the P.A.T.H. School for Autism Inc. and the P.A.T.H. Academy for Autism Ltd. was sentenced Tuesday for convictions related to theft from the school.
53-year-old Bonnie Kimpling was sentenced to 90 days in jail by a Williams County Common Pleas Court judge.
An investigation by the Ohio Attorney General's Office, the Bryan Police Department and the Ohio Department of Education found that she stole more than $150,000. She was consequently charged with one count of aggravated theft.
She was also sentenced to five years of community control, a $2,500 fine, and $32,269 in restitution. A 2-year prison term will apply if she doesn't meet these terms.
