Fountain City Jr Hi Boys Win Harlan Tournament

The Fountain City Christian School junior high boys Flames basketball team won the championship trophy at the Harlan Christian School Junior Hawks Tournament. The Flames defeated the Angola Christian Educators' Warriors 43 - 24 in the semi-finals. Power forward Roman Sutton led the Flames with 31 points, 21 rebounds and 10 blocked shots to get to the finals and face the host Harlan Christian School Hawks.

Behind strong defense and patient offensive play, the Fountain City was able to emerge victorious 47-42. Point guard Bronson Sutton led the scoring for FCCS with 16 including 4 for 5 behind the 3-point line, and Roman Sutton had 15 points, 15 rebounds and 4 blocked shots. With the wins, the Junior Flames are 10-3 on the year.

Roman Sutton was named Tournament Most Valuable Player, and Bronson Sutton, Devin Franklin, and Branson Heisey joined him on the All-Tournament Team.
