Professional sports made some semblance of returning on Sunday as the NASCAR Cup Series were center stage in Darlington, South Carolina in a 400-mile event that saw California native Kevin Harvick dominate much of the event to claim the victory.

Alex Bowman finished second, Kurt Busch finished third, with Chase Elliott and Denny Hamlin rounding out the top five.

Michigan native's Erik Jones and Brad Keselowski finished eighth and 13th respectively, with South Bend, Indiana native Ryan Newman finishing 15th in his first race back following a violent crash in the Daytona 500 back in February.

The series will return to Darlington on Wednesday night in a 500-kilometer event.
