Savings Discussed for Bryan Municipal Utility Subscribers

Some possible savings have been discussed for Bryan Municipal Utilities subscribers, and it could be lower electric bills.
The Bryan Board of Public Affairs talked about a new electric rate for 2019 that is expected to result in lower costs to customers. Officials said that the proposed rate change would increase the monthly residential customer charge from $8.25 to $10.25. But the kilowatt hour charge will decrease from 9.98 cents to 9.83 cents.
