An ornate design of brick and ivy, along with a theatre and an old-time soda fountain are just a few pieces of a new vision that is moving forward at Sauder Village.
Sauder Village officials have plans to turn back the clocks to 1923 with their 1920's Main Street project.
The project also includes moving the District 16 School and Dr. McGuffin’s Office to their appropriate place along the timeline as well. Store fronts and other buildings will get that old timey touch too. A 1920s gas station and auto dealership is even getting built.
No timeline has been set for a finish date. The funding comes from the Ohio State Capital Appropriations and other resources.
