Three more of the individuals arrested in an alleged kidnapping plan have been bound over to Branch County Circuit Court.
District Court officials say 37 year old David Bailey of Coldwater had his preliminary hearing on Wednesday while 32 year old Talia Furman of Springfield waived her hearing. They are both scheduled to have pre-trial conferences on December 3. Both are charged with three counts each of conspiracy to commit first degree criminal sexual conduct, conspiracy to commit kidnapping and conspiracy to commit first degree murder.
Court officials say 19 year old Jayme LaPoint of Athens also waived her preliminary hearing in this case this week. She is facing the same charges as Bailey, Furman and 32 year old Matthew Toole.
Toole waived his preliminary hearing in October.
In September, Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette announced the four suspects has been arrested by Michigan State Police for their roles in a plot to kidnap, torture and sexually assault a young child. The investigation started in August.
All four individuals are each still being held on $5 million bond. Toole will have a pre-trial conference on Monday and LaPoint on November 26.
