There will be no changes to the membership of the Branch County Commission.
During Tuesday's General Election, incumbents Terri Norris (2363) in District 1; Leonard Kolcz (2447) in District 2; Don Vrablic (2526) in District 3; Ted Gordon (2034) in District 4 and Randall Hazelbaker (2426) in District 5 all ran unopposed and were re-elected to their positions.
In other Branch County voting issues, residents of the Bronson School District approved a sinking fund millage 1403 Yes votes to 1034 No votes. The request is for 2 mills for 5 years. Money from the millage will be used for the construction or repair of school buildings; school security improvements and for the acquisition or upgrading of technology.
In the Bronson School Board election, Dennis Sikorski was re-elected with 1207 votes. The second seat was won by Brenda Kelley who received 1030 votes and defeated incumbent Deborah Balowski who got 974 votes.
In Quincy, voters again turned down a police protection millage proposal with 721 No votes to 678 Yes votes. The request was for 1.25 mills for 10 years, with the money to be used for the purpose of police protection.
Voters also re-elected incumbents Casey Bassage and Nick Loomis to the Village Council. In addition, Laura Loomis was also elected to the Council as was Wendy Salyer to a partial term.
