Ligonier Man Arrested On Child Pornography Charges

Noble County, IN - The Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force arrested a 25 year old man from Ligonier this morning on charges related to the possession of child pornography.
The investigation began at the end of July, 2018 when a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) was received by the ICAC Task Force.
As a result of the investigation, a search warrant was obtained and served at 8:15 a.m. today. Based on preliminary findings as a result of the search warrant, 25 year old Robert Paul Taylor was arrested at his residence and incarcerated in the Noble County Jail on the following charges:
Possession of Child Pornography, Level 6 Felony Possession of Child Pornography (victims under age of 12), Level 5 Felony At this time, additional examination of electronics is on going and the possibility of additional charges will be determined by the Noble County Prosecutor's Office.
The ICAC Task Force was assisted by the Noble County Sheriff Department, Ligonier Police Department, Fort Wayne Police Department and the Noble County Prosecutor's Office.
