More Area Road Projects Coming
Saturday Jul 28, 2018 7:38am
Motorists in the area will have some major closures to contend with.
U-S 6 near Ligonier will be shut down starting Monday as crews replace a culvert. The highway will close from US 33 to Noble County Road 750 West. The project should be completed by late Thursday.
Also starting Monday is the bridge maintenance work on the Turkey Creek bridge on 327 in Steuben County, just north of Helmer.
Repaving of US 6 between Ligonier and Kendallville is also scheduled to get underway soon, depending on weather. The road will remain open but controlled by flaggers during the project.
U-S 20 on the west side of LaGrange is scheduled for work to widen the road starting August 6th. Motorists can expect delays from SR 9 west to Townline Road.
