Several residents in the city of Angola experienced a power outage Friday morning starting at roughly 4:30 a.m.
Nipsco officials said that "a primary underground arrest blew".
The majority of the outages seemed to run in and around the area of Williams Street and most of North Wayne.
Nipsco truck were seen working in an area around Dairy Queen. A Nipsco employee told some of the residents at the Village Green Apartment Complex that their power should be restored by the 8 a.m. hour.
If you are experiencing an outage, do not call 9-1-1. Power outages should be reported to your power company.
