Authorities have arrested a man who people say left them with thousands of dollars in backyard damages after unsuccessfully installing swimming pools.
According to WWMT, Michigan State Police arrested Kevin Boguth, the owner of Liquid Landscapes, on July 4 on a charge of being an unlicensed home builder. He was taken to the Hillsdale County Jail and later freed after someone posted his $5,000 bond.
Investigators say similar charges are pending in Calhoun County, where Boguth has been accused of failing to properly install pools and leaving backyards in a state of disarray.
Before he started Liquid Landscapes, Boguth served jail time on a charge of financial fraud.
