Three Flown Out by Samaritan After Wednesday Night Crash

Steuben County emergency personal were called to US 20 east of 700 East Wednesday night on a report of a multiple vehicle personal injury accident. The call came at around 8:30 p.m.
An investigation of the vehicle crash by the Steuben County Sheriff's Department revealed that a pick-up truck driven by Kristen Newell, age 18 of Camden, MI had been traveling West on US 20 and crossed the center line into the path of a vehicle driven by Nickoles Dill, age 28 of West Unity, OH. Dill was traveling East on US 20.
Both drivers, and a passenger with Dill, were flown from the scene by Samaritan Helicopter to Parkview Regional Medical Center for treatment of their injuries. The passenger in Dill's vehicle was identified as Kelly Dill, age 30, also of West Unity.
Steuben County Chief Deputy, RJ Robinson said in a media realeas that all occupants were wearing seat belts and alcohol is not believed to be a factor.
The Crash is still under investigation.
Assisting the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office at the scene was the Indiana State Police, Steuben County EMS, Parkview Samaritan Helicopter, Angola Fire Rescue, Metz Fire Rescue, & Steuben County Communications.
