LaGrange County Commissioners learned Monday that earth work for the new Justice Building is delayed.
County engineer Sarah Farlow and County Surveyor Rex Pranger told the commissioners that the delay is apparently some guy wires from a Centurylink pole that extend onto the property.
They said they were just informed of the delay.
The commissioners approved a resolution calling for permission to transport dirt from the site to the Schmidt property. They are asking Schmidt to sign a waiver of permission.
Farlow reported that bridge work near Stroh should be finished next week.
