Man Arrested for Cocaine Possession on Indiana Toll Road

After being stopped for speeding, a 23 year old man from La Crosse, Wisconsin was arrested by an Indiana State Police Trooper Sunday afternoon on the Indiana Toll Road on cocaine possession charges.
The initial incident happened at around 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the 153 mile marker when a vehicle was observed by an ISP Trooper traveling eastbound lane, approaching the toll gate in excess of the posted 45 mile per hour speed limit.
After the traffic stop was initiated reports indicate the the Trooper became suspicious with the driver, Rymone Taylor. The Trooper could reportedly smell the odor of burnt marijuana coming from the passenger compartment of Taylor’s vehicle.
Further investigation and a subsequent search of the vehicle turned up between four and five grams of cocaine, drug paraphernalia, a .380 caliber Glock handgun and more than $9,500.00 in U.S. currency. Taylor was taken into custody without incident, incarcerated in the Steuben County Jail.
Taylor's preliminarily charges include Possession of Cocaine with a Firearm, Dealing Cocaine with a Firearm, & Possession of Paraphernalia.
The Indiana State Police was assisted by the Steuben County Sheriff Department.
