The 101 Lakes Kiwanis Club of Angola is once again hosting their annual Christmas tree fundraiser to benefit children’s initiatives in Steuben County. The sales will run until Sunday, December 10, 2017 or until all trees are sold. The trees range in price from $20 to $60 depending on size and type.
Trees can be picked up and paid for at the Tractor Supply Company at 1807 N. Wayne St., in Angola. The sale takes place from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. According to Jeff Clark, Kiwanis Club President this is the “57th year" for the project.
For the first time in the 57-year history of tree sales, the group will be adding an event for area children. On Saturday (December 2nd) from 12:00-2:00 p.m. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be on hand, along with refreshments.
The event is free, but all participants are asked to bring a new toy to share. All toys collected will be distributed to area kids in need through Project Help.
