The Prairie Heights High School Girls Basketball Program will have an entirely new coaching staff next year as the Prairie Heights School Board accepted the resignation of Nick Pfafman as the the Girls Varsity Basketball Head Coach Monday night. Just last month the board received the resignation of the Varsity Assistant Coach, Gwen Nothnagle, and Junior Varsity Coach, Nicole Wormcastle.

With Pfafman's resignation from the girls basketball program leadership, it will be the 5th head coaching change in the program in the last ten years.

In other board action, Allison Hall was hired for a middle school language arts teaching position and Brian Beebe was hired for a high school english teaching position. Both Hall and Beebe will have contracts that will start in the fall of 2017.

The Prairie Heights School Board also accepted a bid for 3 new gas powered school buses that will cost $187,969.00.
