On Thursday Night, Brian McIntosh of Wauseon, OHio was headed westbound on State Route 8 in his semi trailer, where he stated his view was obstructed by heavy rain and the headlights of an oncoming vehicle.
As his semi went off of the north side of the roadway into the ditch, the tractor trailer side swiped a utility pole knocking the wires loose causing a power outage. The semi then rolled over onto it’s right side into a green wheat field to rest faced west.
Fortunately, McIntosh was uninjured as Auburn Fire Department and Indiana State Police responded to the accident and are still investigating more into the crash.
