Jonathan D. Haag of Edon, Ohio driving his of 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix was traveling Westbound in the 7300 Block of County Road 28 in DeKalb County when he sped up. His vehicle left the North side of the roadway, where it appeared he tried to over-correct and lose control.
Haag began to slide sideways before running off the South side of the roadway. The car came to rest off the roadway in a yard. Haag was transported to DeKalb Health for medical treatment, where he complained of head pain.
Speed was believed to be a factor in the crash, as Haag was cited for speed.
