Over twenty members of area groups gathered at Citizens Square in Fort Wayne on Tuesday morning in which presented 1,000 petitions asking for Mayor Tom Henry to sign a letter that would endorse investing in renewable energy.
Petitions for the plan were accepted by members of the Mayor's staff.
While measures of pledging to sign the petition were not made by the Mayor's office, it was very much reiterated that Mayor Henry wants Fort Wayne to be a city that indeed will "lead by example."
