(COLDWATER) – The Coldwater Police are asking for the public's help as they investigate an assault.
Coldwater Director of Public Safety Joe Scheid (shy-D) says officers received a call shortly after 10 PM Tuesday from ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital that they were treating a 25 year old woman. Police arrived and the woman said she walked to the hospital after being attacked in the area of Polk Street and Riverside Drive along the Coldwater River. She said her attacker was a man who was driving a metallic blue four door passenger car with tinted windows.
Scheid says if anyone saw something between 8 PM and 10 PM in that area, they are asked to call Officer Matt Shoenauer (show-NOW-er) or Officer Anthony Estrada at 517-278-4525.
