Police in Lagrange County arrested 22 people Sunday in connection with underage drinking.
Sixteen were arrested on charges of minor in possession of alcohol. They were from Shipshewana, Middlebury, Goshen,Topeka and Ligonier.
Five were charged with contributing to the delinquency of minors. They
are 21-year-old Daniel Boevers of Shipshewana, 18-year-old Myron Herschberger of Shipshewana, 20-year-old Dale Miller of Shipshewana, 20-year-old Dennis Bontrager of Shipshewana, and 46-year-old Timothy Hostetler of Shipshewana.
21-year-old Dow Loy of Ligonier was charged with possession of marijuana and resisting law enforcement.
All 22 persons were booked and released from the Lagrange County Jail.
