The United States Navy recently announced that it will name a warship in honor of late Indiana Senator, Richard G. Lugar.
The announcement came down on Wednesday as Senator Todd Young spoke that Navy Secretary Richard Spencer and members of the Lugar family will attend a private naming ceremony for the USS Richard G. Lugar at the Indiana War Memorial in Indianapolis this coming Monday.
Lugar passed away back in April at age 87.
