The frigid temperatures seen throughout the tri-state region on Tuesday will remain in place for most of the day today, however some warm-up is expected for the rest of the week.
According to the National Weather Service, temperatures for the day Wednesday will remain only in the mid 20 degree range, with a slight chance of snow in store for tonight. While temperatures will remain frigid for the day today, conditions Thursday and Friday look to improve as a slight warm-up and partly cloudy skies will become prevalent with highs reaching into the mid 30's. These same conditions are expected to last through the weekend as well, with an even bigger warm-up expected into early next week.
