On Tuesday, September 10th at approximately 4:43 P.M., officers from the Coldwater Police Department were dispatched to a personal injury accident at the intersection of Garfield Avenue and South Clay Street. Initial investigations reveal a 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer driven by a Coldwater resident failed to yield as she turned north onto South Clay Street from West Garfield Avenue striking a west bound motorcycle driven by a Coldwater resident.
The motorcyclist sustained serious leg injuries and was treated on scene before being transported to Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
The Branch County Sheriff’s Office, Lifecare Ambulance, and the Coldwater Fire Department assisted on scene.
