A semi-truck fire on in Dekalb County on northbound I-69 around mile marker 325 backed up traffic Thursday. The interstate shut down as far south as the Fort Wayne Union Chappel Road exit Thursday evening.
Crews quickly worked to clean-up the cleanup of the accident and to get traffic moving back to normal.
No details were given on the cause or nature of the fire. The semi rig appeared to be a total loss from eye-witness accounts.
